Trailer Tips for Trailer Trips (T.T.f.T.T.)

We’ve always made it a priority to ensure our customer’s lift/lowering installations are both simple and hassle-free. We know many of you have exciting trips and adventures that you’re eager to get to and we’re happy to help you get your trailer ready for them. To that end, we’d like to offer some quick tips to assist you when you’re getting ready for a Trailer Blocks installation before your voyage:

Gather accurate information before placing your order. Acquire as much information on your trailer and lift/lower specifics before you place your order. Accurate measurements on factors such as spring width and axle rating are crucial when making the right selection for your trailer. Trailer Blocks products and kits are organized and sold by Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and then subdivided by spring width. Be sure to double check the product descriptions for kit contents and axle/spring compatibility. If you need assistance making your choice, please contact us via email (contact@trailerblocks.com) and fill out our custom form as best you can (http://bit.ly/1oD8mcf) and we’ll do everything we can to help.

Allocate enough time for shipping and installation prior to your trip. We understand the excitement of getting a newly modified trailer out on the open road. However, it’s important to budget enough time for your package to arrive and for you to complete the installation safely and correctly. Keep in mind that there is a one week manufacturing lead time from the day you place your order and you’ll be presented with one of two shipping options during checkout as discussed below. Try to plan modifications to your trailer well in advance of a trip to avoid rushing through the installation. After installing your Trailer Blocks products you should leave enough time to road-test and re-torque your U-bolts as documented in our installation instructions found here: http://www.trailerblocks.com/pages/instructions

Regular and Express Shipping. We offer free regular shipping to all customers and if you need your kit in a hurry, we do offer paid express shipping as well. Trailer Blocks is based out of Ontario, Canada and our packages are shipping via Canada Post. The links posted below will help you determine approximately how long you can expect your package to arrive once it has been processed and sent out for delivery:

Don’t hesitate to seek out additional help. Making modifications to your trailer's ride height does require a bit of planning and if you’re unsure how to proceed or just have additional questions or concerns, feel free contact us via email or social media or leave a comment in the section below and we'll do everything we can to help you out.

What type of terrain do you pull your voltage thru? Is your truck lifted? My 2013 ram 2500 has a 4" lift with 35’s. I have the same voltage a 3200. We love it but they built it way to low for slightly rough terrain. Just coming out out of some driveways can damage the rear TH bumper. I have done that twice!!
